SteelSeries SteelSound 5H v2 - More features
(Page 4 of 5 )
The actual headset cable is about three feet long. Since this isn’t always enough to reach to your PC, the SteelSound includes a six foot extension (which extends both the headphone and the microphone leads). This makes it easy to take your headset with you, while not disturbing the connections to your PC.

Speaking of taking the headset with you, the SteelSound has one feature I’ve yet to see in any other headset. At the top of each headphone stem is a disconnect button which allows you to disassemble your headset into three pieces. These pieces have a much smaller chance of being damaged during transit.

The final feature I’d like to go over (as if the previous features weren’t enough), is the in-line controller that sits about two feet from the headphones.

In the above picture, you can make out a volume control at the top-right of this controller. In addition, there is a three position switch which controls the sensitivity of the microphone.
