SteelPad QcK Heavy - A closer look
I must say, when I received the SteelPad 5L last month, I was in awe at how big the package was. Well, forget that small thing. This package was much bigger. The pad is so big, in fact, that SteelSeries ships them rolled up to conserve space.

A quick examination of the packaging brought me to an endorsement by Russian Quake player mouz | cooler, considered one of the top players in the world. SteelSeries worked in cooperation with leading gamers. It was from this joint effort that the QcK heavy was born.

Removing the pad from the box, I was once again shocked by the sheer size of it. I even pulled out a tape measure, to verify that the package surrounding just the mouse pad was a huge 19 inches.

The next few minutes were a blur of ripped plastic and the sweet smell of a cloth mouse pad. The next thing I knew, I was holding this beast of a mouse pad in my hands.
Before I became tempted to curl up on it and take a nap, I figured it would be wise to finish the review before succumbing to the spongy temptation.

After a few quick measurements, I determined that this beast is over 17.5 inches wide, 15.5 inches high, and almost 23 inches diagonally. And I thought the SteelPad 5L was huge!
