Does this scanner look slick? Yes. Is this scanner very small and compact with a small footprint? Yes. Is the included CanoScan software easy to use and pretty well thought out? Yes. Most importantly, does this scanner's quality live up to the reputation of Canon? No. This scanner is good for those who just want a scanner for the sake of a scanner, and don’t have the extra US $30 to spend on the Canon LiDE 30, which has a higher dpi count. If you have the extra money, it’s a worthwhile upgrade.
