Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop 1000 Review

Wireless keyboards and mice have been becoming more and more popular. Users can sit back and relax in a comfortable chair and chat away without worrying about a cord getting in the way, or pulling the computer out from the desk. It also makes the computer area less cluttered with wires lying everywhere. A wireless keyboard and mouse give the user a clean stylish work environment, and it can often look like your work area is superior to others.

Microsoft is one of the most well known names in the entire computing community. What many users are unaware of is that Microsoft has been producing peripherals while developing software and operating systems. My first Pentium class computer came with a Microsoft keyboard and mouse; I actually hated using anything else for some reason.

Today we have Microsoft’s Wireless Optical Desktop 1000, an entry level wireless keyboard and mouse which are designed to give the user wireless freedom and a few extra features to make life easier. It’s a very simple setup which should make this a great setup for most users looking to jump onto the wireless bandwagon. Let’s see how the wireless optical desktop performs

The Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop is packaged in a red and white box, displaying both the keyboard and mouse. The box also lists many of their product features.
