Manhattan Personal Cinema 5.1 USB - Let's get moving!
Now, the instructions said the next thing I should do is plug everything in. Usually with USB devices, they tell you to install the drivers first; but not with this one.

After connecting the Personal Cinema to the computer, I was greeted with the above hardware wizard. But I didn't want to run it, so I canceled. I inserted the Manhattan Drivers CD (the one with the headphones on it) and waited. Nothing happened. That's odd, I thought to myself, opening Windows Explorer. What I found was a file called "MANHATTAN STATION.EXE" sitting on the CD. That explains why there was no autorun.
So I ran the install. It installed all the drivers and such, and gave me a nifty new icon on my quickly-becoming-cluttered app tray. Here's a pic of what I mean.

See the little headphones on the left? Those belong to the Manhattan Station, which is the software that controls the headphones. I decided to see what it had to offer, so I opened it up.

The first thing I found was the control panel. As you can see from the screenshots above, it allows me to set the volume levels for each of my devices, and gives me a screen for fine tuning each of the different zones inside the headphones themselves. And of course, it also features a nice ABOUT screen.
Next: How about some testing? >>
