Icemat Siberia Headset - A closer look at the headphones

Yeah, we caught a glance of them earlier, but now we are going to take a closer look at the headphone portion of this headset.

Above is a pic of how the headphones look.  The two round tubes across the top provide the strength of the unit, as well as the wiring from one ear to another.  The black band custom-fits itself to the user, and holds the headphones pretty snugly in place.

For a closer look at what I'm talking about, take a look at the above picture.  See the two small wires connecting the black band?  Those wires are on some sort of spring tension, and will expand to fit the size of your head when you put on the headphones, and hold it snugly.

Here's another picture of the same spot.  In this picture, I've put some pressure on the band so it extends the wires further.  To be honest, this is the first time I've found such a feature in a set of headphones that cost less that $150.  The last pair I had like it were professional DJ headphones.

Here's a closer look at one of the ears.  That whole black part you can see is the speaker enclosure.  Whereas a lot of headsets have small speakers that project from a smaller source, the speaker on the Icemat Siberia is nearly as big as your ear.

       · I'll be honest, this headset is ALOT more comfortable than I thought it would be. ...
