    Dell Wireless Printer Adapter 3300 - What's in the box

    When I received this device, the first thing I did was tear open the packaging so I could get to the innards.  Here is what I saw:

    As you can see, the package included the following items:

    • Dell Wireless Printer Adapter 3300
    • Power Transformer and cord
    • USB cable (approx 3 feet)
    • Software CD
    • Quick Start Instructions
    • Information book

    Here’s a closer image of the Adapter itself.  From the image, you can tell there’s not really much to it.  It’s about the size of a deck of playing cards, with three indicator lights on the front.  One light is for power, another indicates that a USB printer is connected, and the third indicates that it is connected to the wireless network.

    And finally, here’s a shot of the back of the unit.  Notice how there are two different USB ports?  One of them is for configuring the adapter, while the other is for hooking up the printer.  I’ll go more into how to do the configuration on the next page.
