CanoScan LiDE 35 Scanner Review - Interior and Vertical Stand
(Page 4 of 6 )
When fully opened, the LiDE 35's scanner cover makes about a 95 degree angle with respect to its base.

The cover is a very thin piece of plastic with a foam cushion. On top of the foam cushion is a white, smooth piece of rubber that presses against whatever is being scanned or the glass on the scanner's base.

The cover is attached to the scanner's base by a piece of plastic that can raise up, allowing the entire cover to lift up by an inch or so for scanning thick items.

The LiDE 35's max document size is 8.5" x 11.7". Etched on to the scanner's border are reference lines for B5, A4 and letter documents.

Remember the LiDE 35's vertical stand? This is what the scanner looks like standing upright.

It sits back at a slight angle, enough to position documents without trouble.
