    Best Noise-Canceling Headphones For MP3 Players - Ultimate Ears Super.FI 5 Pro ($150)

Like Able Planet, Ultimate Ears is not a very popular company yet, but they are not new to the ear phone market. Ultimate Ears has specialized in producing in-ear monitors for a variety of musicians, such as Aerosmith, Linkin Park, The Rolling Stones, and Metallica to name a few. Ultimate Ears is now expanding to the consumer market with their new line of ear phones, and one of their best is the Super.FI 5 Pro.

The Super.FI 5 Pros are the first in-ear headphones in my review, and they are obviously one of the smallest and lightest in my review as well. They are also one of the best at eliminating outside noise. Ultimate Ears claims that these ear phones will lower outside noise by an amazing 26 decibels. This isn't surprising since they use the same technology to provide musicians quality in-ear monitors to eliminate loud noise during concerts. The bottom line is that they know what they are doing when it comes to noise cancellation.

The sound quality is impressive in these little guys. These ear phones have a sensitivity of 119 dB/mW, making the sound quality very efficient with minimal noise and interference. These earphones produce crystal clear highs and have a good bass response.

The 5 Pros come with five different size tips to fit just about any size ear. These in-ear headphones are one of the most comfortable in-ear phones on the market. Some people don't like this kind of headphone, but for those who don't mind this kind of design, these would be a great choice.

The advantage of these ear phones over other noise-cancellation headphones is that these can be used during workouts because of their small size, and they are easier to carry around. They only weigh 0.6 ounces, and they include a nice carrying case with the purchase. They also come with a full two year manufacturer warranty.

The only negative that I have seen associated with these ear phones is the "cheap" and thin cable included with the ear phones. This cable will tangle easily, and may even break in extreme cases. The cable is replaceable, through Ultimate Ears, for about $20. If the cable does break, though, it is covered by the warranty.

The Ultimate Ears Super.FI 5 Pro ear phones are some of the best sounding noise-cancellation ear phones on the market today. The only problem that Ultimate Ears may have in selling these little beauties is the fact that they are not a big name company yet. The retail price of these ear phones is $249, but they have recently dropped significantly in price to about $150. They are definitely worth that price!
