    Sennheiser RS-120 Review - Base

    Sennheiser RS-120 Review

My favorite feature of the base is the way you use it to recharge the batteries. You put the two metal bands of the headphones on the metal rack of the base, and it recharges while hanging there. The base allows three different channels, which we will talk about later. The only problem I have with the base is the power connector needed to power the base. With the tiny space they give you in which to put the power cord, along with audio cord, things get crapped.

I don’t have big fingers, so putting cords in has never been a problem for me -- but I could only get part of the cord into the jack, which is not enough to power the base. I grabbed a pair of needle nose pliers and had no problem inserting the rest. This isn’t something you need to do all the time, so it really isn’t a big deal unless you plan on moving the base around a lot.

Here’s the end of the audio cable out of the base. It works great when plugged into RCA ports, but what do you do about the rest of the headphone connectors?
