Sennheiser RS-120 Review - What’s in the Box
(Page 2 of 6 )
I would first like to show you the box before we dive in. Sennheiser has put a little extra into their box. It is surprising sturdy, which reassures us that they care about their products and go a little above and beyond the standard. Enough about the box; let's go inside.

The box contained the headphones, base, batteries and power cord. Nothing surprising there, but what was a surprise was what was not there. In the instruction manual, they list a 3.5mm / ¼” adapter. I searched with a fine tooth comb, and there was no adapter inside. That's not a big deal if your plan on using the RCA straight in, but you will need the adapter for MP3 players, CD players, and for a computer without RCA jacks.
It seems that I am not the only one this happened to; many people have pointed this out. Luckily, I have a box of unused cables, which I was able to use to create a makeshift adapter out of a few different cords. I know that not everyone one will have these laying around. Running out to get additional cables which you need for many uses is unacceptable.
