Sennheiser PX100 Headphones Review - What's in the PX100 Box?

The package comes with a warranty card, the hard-plastic carrying case, and of course, the headphones themselves. When I first got the package, the plastic mold within the outer package held the carrying case very snugly, and was actually a bit of a pain in the neck to remove. Frankly, I was all the happier for it because that means that my phones weren’t shaking very much in the package. You can get an idea how it fit from the picture below, as well as a good look of the carrying case/shell in the closed position.

In the picture above you can also see the small thumb latch/snap that holds the case securely closed (right above the Sennheiser logo). There really isn't much to worry in regards to this thing opening when you don't want it to, such as when they’re waiting to be used, packed in your backpack, or tossed in back seat of your car. Opening the case was akward the first couple of times because of the way the latch works. After realizing how to hold it, however, it was a cinch. In the picture below you can see the case open. Unfortunately, the resolution isn't that great, but the headphones themselves are folded and tucked into the clear part. Just behind them, the cord is wound around a large oval, a bit like a vacuum cord. (I have undone the cord one or two "oval" lengths.)
