    Logitech Z-2200 Review - Conclusion

    Z-2200 Review

Overall the Logitech Z-2200 speakers are a remarkable set of 2.1 speakers. I never expected them to sound as incredible as they do. Their 200 watts RMS is what really delivers the room shaking beats and the satellites' excellent quality keep sound crisp, not drowned out by bass. Whether it be movies, music, or games, the Z-2200 really delivers exception sound for a set of computer speakers that can also be used with a TV or console system. Because of the Z-2200's spectacular performance on all these fronts, we gladly award to it the Dev Hardware Recommended award.

Although Logitech prices the Z-2200s at $150, you can buy them online for about $115 and I'm sure you'll find them on sale every now and then at local stores. So valued at around $120, are the Logitech Z-2200's worth your dough? If you've never taken sound seriously - then you should definitely look into these speakers as a beginner's step. Logitech offers 4.1 and 5.1 variants of the same high wattage speakers, but those of course cost much more. If you're already an expert in theater audio - you may have a negatively biased impression of the quality of computer speakers. If that's the case, I really suggest you get out and hear these things in action.

The best way to decide on what speakers to buy is to go to the local Best Buy, CompUSA, or other tech store and hear them if they are on display. Keep the Z-2200's in mind next time you're at a store.
