    Logitech X-530 Speaker System Review

One of the most common aftermarket peripherals users have been purchasing have been speaker systems. Speakers enhance everything from listening to MP3s to playing the latest first person shooter. Now considered a vital component in most computer setups, current games are coded with surround sound, which is much like surround sound in movies. Surround puts the action around you, voices and gunshots are now coming from all directions. Let's take a look at one of these cool speaker systems, the Logitech X-530.

Logitech has been producing various peripherals for computer systems while trying to deliver ease of use, compatibility, great looks, quality and performance. Logitech has started producing computer speaker systems to provide the consumer with a rich sound filled gaming and movie environment.

Today we have Logitech’s X-530 speaker system, a 5.1 surround configuration consisting of 5 satellites (with frequency directed dual 2 inch drivers) and a 5.25 inch high excursion subwoofer. It totals 70 Watts RMS and a peak power of 140 Watts. Can the X-530 provide enough power to create the illusion that you are right in the middle of gaming and movie action? Let’s find out.
