Wii Sports Resort - Getting Friendly

As for the activities best suited for multiplayer, Basketball is at the top of the list. You can either participate in a three-point shooting contest or play a pick-up game of 3-on-3. It’s definitely not the realistic action you may get while playing NBA Live or something from EA Sports, but it’s still a good time.

Swordplay is another activity that is better in multiplayer. You can either have a typical duel, where you try to knock your opponent off of a platform, or play Speed Slice, where you see who can cut certain objects the quickest.

Besides the activities already mentioned, most of the others are somewhat dull and not too engaging. In Wakeboarding, you basically move around an obstacle course and try to complete tricks. Power Cruising is basically a race on jet skis. Canoeing is the same, except your vessel is not powered by a motor.

Air Sports is a one-player activity where you steer yourself as a skydiver or as a pilot through obstacles, and is, for the most part, very bland. Perhaps the worst and silliest activity is Cycling, where you race your bicycle by pumping your hands up and down to simulate pedaling. At least there are plenty of activities in Wii Sports Resort to keep people happy, as everyone has different tastes.
