Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 - Call of Duty: Campaigning
(Page 3 of 4 )
Hard-core gamers may find the campaign mode to be fairly short, but itís still sweet, with amazing cinematography and first-rate graphics that provide visual entertainment. Players will move between big sets, which at times can make the story feel a little choppy or incomplete, but single-player campaign mode will still provide enjoyable game play to go along with stunning visuals.
The battles players do experience are as tense and active as they come, replete with roaring helicopters, whizzing bullets and even dangerous, explosive rockets. Never-before-seen battle settings add a new edge of excitement to the continuing Call of Duty series.
Enemy players are much more intelligent in this new game installment as well, a feature which should please many gamers. Unmerciful opponents will change strategies, constantly trying new attacks to accomplish their goal: wiping you off the map. This makes the game much more like real combat; youíll be forced to think and react quickly, using all your skills and changing your tactics to adapt to changing battle strategies at a momentís notice.
New Special Ops missions (featuring a split-screen view) and the Elimination mode add new levels of fun to the multiplayer option. The Special Ops missions give you twenty-three different tasks, each filled with multiple objectives you must complete. You can enjoy this facet of the game with a friend or by yourself. This brand-new feature, never before seen in Call of Duty games, is sure to delight fans of the series who want to add a new element to their game play.
Call of Duty Multiplayer Mode
Youíll hardly notice a difference between Modern Warfare 2ís single-person and multiplayer game play, meaning youíll get to enjoy stunning visuals no matter which game mode you choose to enjoy. Gamers can upgrade their weapons, choose between multiple weapons to arm themselves with and make use of nuclear bombs to win the game (if they can find them) in multiplayer mode.
New additions make the multiplayer mode slighter richer in detail than it was in previous Call of Duty games. Now, for instance, youíll gain extra points for head shots and other special kills.
The backgrounds and maps are highly detailed, not as flat as what youíll find with previous Call of Duty game installments, giving you a much fuller gaming experience when you choose to play with others in multiplayer mode. The game is so beautiful, so detailed and so filled with excitement and skill, it could easily give the popular Halo a run for its multiplaying money.
