The temperatures measured were with a 2.53 GHz Pentium IV overclocked to 3.47 GHz at 1.58 volts. The CPU was installed on an ABIT IC7-G and I used Winbond Hardware Doctor to obtain the numbers.
As you can see the ZM-WB2 was a nice improvement over the Koolance designed CPU-200G. The Zalman was an astounding 1.5 degrees Celsius better than the CPU-200G under load and 1.0 degree Celsius better at idle. Considering all other things were kept constant this was very impressive. I had always thought the Koolance Exos was capable of doing better if it just had a more robust water block.
Overall I was very impressed with the Zalman ZM-WB2 water block. It appears to be a very well designed water block for a reasonable price. Especially when you consider all the mounting hardware that is included in the package. For Zalman's first attempt at a water block they've done great. I can't wait to see what new hardware they may have on the horizon. Hopefully they are developing a full water cooling kit to compete with Koolance, Swiftech, and others.
With the only low being the problem I had with the attachment screw you'd hope that Zalman would be able to fix that with a something a little more stout in the future. It doesn't seem to be that uncommon, I had a similar problem with a Swiftech MCX4000 a year or so ago. Swiftech updated their mounting hardware and hopefully Zalman will do the same.
