Zalman Reserator 1 Review - Box
I received the Zalman Reserator 1 in a very large, long, and heavy box. After opening it up and seeing just how large the Reserator really is however, this was not much of a surprise. The Reserator is sandwiched between two large pieces of Styrofoam. Other small accessories are kept in zip lock bags and kept on the outside of the Styrofoam. Also in the box is a 3 meter piece of 3/8" silicone piping and a ZM-WB2 water block in its own package.
The ZM-WB2 water block is very compatible and easy to install. It also features a simple copper core design with blue aluminum cover that matches the Reserator. The retail packaged water block includes mounting kits for socket 462/478/754/940, thermal paste, and a simple instruction manual.

The top of the Reserator shows the unit's specifications. It can be twisted off to access the reservoir.

The bottom features the built-in pump and a black aluminum stand. The unit is securely attached to the stand but can also be twisted off. In fact the entire Reserator is constructed of replaceable parts.
