Evercool Neon Crab - Installing the Crab
I have a picture of it installed on my Abit IC7 motherboard. The width of the Neon Crab is perfect for covering 4 memory DIMMs.

The springs in the claws are actually quite strong so you don't have to worry about the Crab moving up and down or falling off. The left and right movement however was substantial, in fact it's my main grievance with this product. Though the springs hold the claws tightly in place, the two points where the claws make contact with the DIMMs becomes somewhat of an axis on which the whole Crab pivots.
It's not as though the Crab flops around so easily that it won't sit straight, but touching it directly will move it either left or right. I don't doubt that a hard jolt to the case would likely do the same. Although, if your hitting your case that hard there are other things you should be worrying about.
The "wobbliness" aside, when the Neon Crab is installed and flashing it's bulbous little eyes at you it makes quite an impression.

My little gif doesn't do the lights any justice. As soon as you plug it in the eyeballs light up, a red/green/blue LED in both eyes. The patterna alternates between flashing back and forth, flashing at the same time, and fading in and out, all the while alternating through the different colors.
It looks like theres a tiny Pink Floyd concert going on inside your PC.
My test setup for gauging temperature differences was as follows:
- 2x 256mb of Corsair Xtreme PC3200 DDR
- 2x 256mb of OCZ PC3200 DDR
- 3x 80mm intake fans
- 2x outtake fans, 1x 90mm 1x 80mm
- Intel P4 3ghz (stock speeds)
- Abit IC7
- ATI 9600XT 128mb
- 120gb Western Digital ATA HDD
- 120gb Seagate Barracuda SATA HDD
- 2x CD drives
