The Evercool K803-925CA performs great considering the heatsink is made of aluminum. The lack of copper and heatpipes does not hold back the 925CA from achieving decent temperatures, proving that to have a great heatsink you donít need to have heatpipes. The 925CA would only perform better if it had a smoother finish as well. Although the finish on the heatsink still produces great results. If a user needed to drop a few more degrees, Iím sure with a lap job on the base they could achieve lower temperatures.
I would like to thank Evercool for providing us the K803-925CA. This heatsink is great for those users who are looking for a simple cooling upgrade over their stock cooling solution, and any users who want to decrease temperatures or to increase over-clock speeds over the basic stock cooler. This heatsink performs very well, even without all the fancy new technology.
