Our primary goal was to achieve a higher stable overclock. Unfortunately, we were not able to accomplish that with the COOL system. Processor limitations at certain temperatures could have been the reason, because this chip was seen at a much higher frequency than 280mhz. (Note: The “droop mod” was performed on this motherboard to prevent VCore fluctuations common in the ASUS motherboards.) So we had to settle for the highest of 3.36GHZ and 280MHZ bus.
Here are the specs at which the processor was running.
RAM was clocked down to 5:4 to achieve the highest possible CPU frequency.
