Cooling Off with Evercool - The Personal Computer’s Air Conditioner (PCAC)
Evercool only recently introduced the Personal Computer's Air Conditioner (PCAC). The PCAC is a variable turbine fan assembly, moving up to 100 cubic feet of air per minute. The PCAC is actually an exhaust fan, intended to push air out of your case through a 5.25" bay where the device is mounted.
You can control the level of exhaust using a knob on the front of the unit, which lets you adjust for a comfortable level of noise. While the unique design does move a decent amount of air, it is best suited for a crowded case that provides little room for an additional exhaust or intake fan.
In addition to the original black unit shown above, Evercool now features the PCAC in translucent blue and green on their web site.
