    Bluegears b-COOL and b-ice fans - Conclusion

As I said in the beginning, both of these fans are good for lowering the temperature in your case, as well as increasing the overall coolness of your machine.

Here are the pros and cons, as usual:

    b-ice pros:

    • Chrome fan is a cool touch.
    • Lighting added to chrome effect gives fan a whole new look.
    • Fan runs quiet, and pushes a lot of air.

    b-ice cons:

    • None

    b-COOL pros:

    • Cool LED readout of temperature.
    • Includes adapter to plug into  four pin molex if motherboard connector is unavailable.

    b-COOL cons:

    • Fan vibrates a bit.
    • Extra fan stabilizer on the top limits installation options.

Overall, both of these fans are of excellent quality.  A good case modder could definitely take the two of these fans and have fun with them.  Overall, I would give the b-ice a rating of 9, and the b-COOL an 8 on a scale of 1 to 10.  In addition, I give each of these fans Dev Hardware's recommended award.  If you want cooling with flair, then these fans are for you. To be honest, the b-COOL was the cooler of the two fans, but the limitation of install options, along with the vibration of the fan knocked it down a notch or two.

I'd like to thank bluegears for supplying us with the b-ice and b-COOL fans.  If you would like additional information on these fans, or any of bluegears' other products, visit their website at http://www.bluegears.com.
