    Bluegears b-COOL and b-ice fans - The b-ice

First up is the b-ice.  As I said before, this is a 120mm fan so it needs a decent amount of space in order to mount.

Let's take a look at the specifications:

    Dimension:

    120mm x 120mm x 25 mm

    Rated Voltage:

    DC 12V

    Operating Voltage:

    10.2-13.8 VDC

    Air Flow:

    63.05 CFM ±10%

    Speed:

    1800 RPM ±10%

    Noise:

    24.6dBA

    Operating Temp.:

    -10°C to +70°C

    Bearing:

    Sleeve

    Weight:

    137g

According to the bluegears website, these are the fan's features:

    1. Four screws included.
    2. Four pins Power connector directly connected to power supplies.
    3. Choice of Blue Chrome coating or Silver Chrome coating.
    4. Low noise level with excellent airflow.
    5. Shining surface enhances better lighting effect.

This fan has a standard four pin molex connector to basically power the fan and LEDs whenever the machine is powered on.  While a lot of custom fans have clear blades, the visible blades on this fan are chromed (in either blue chrome or silver), which causes a unique lighting effect.  Here's a pic of the fan, with and without power.

To be honest, I was surprised at the airflow this fan was able to put out.  Mounted at the right spot in your case, this fan could make a serious difference in your cooling solution. In addition, it's darned quiet.
