    AcoustiFan AF80CT - Clear Fans

    AcoustiFan side view

Clear fans do look better than the classic black fan; they certainly stand out in windowed/lit cases. It's nice AcoustiProducts can make a quiet fan without sacrificing the common aesthetics we are accustomed to with new case fans.

Note that the three power/ground/RPM readout wire is twisted together to make things look a little neater, and that white wire is used instead of the regular yellow wire that is usually associated with the RPM readout wire.

This is what the thermal probe looks like. It is securely attached to the wire and protected by a piece of electrical wrap, giving the user the ability to tape the probe generally anywhere without worry of putting too much stress on it.

Both the thermal probe wire and fan power wire measure about 18 inches long, which is ample length to place the fan anywhere in a case.
