If you're curious about the downloadable games Nintendo launched with its Wiiware line, you've definitely come to the right place! Sit back and check out this first part of a two-part review. In this part I will cover Final Fantasy Chronicles: My Life as a King, LostWinds, and Defend your Castle.
On May 12, 2008 Nintendo launched Wiiware, a series of downloadable games for the Wii console. While only a handful of games accompanied its launch date, rumors suggest that there are nearly 100 Wiiware games currently in the development stage. Wiiware games are affordable and can be purchased and downloaded in retail stores or online for between 500 and 1,500 points Wii points, which translates to between $5 and $15.
The only downside is that no free demos currently exist to preview the games beforehand. The following is part one of a two part article that will review the first six games from Wiiware: Final Fantasy Chronicles: My Life as a King, LostWinds, Defend your Castle, Pop, V.I.P. Casino Blackjack, and TV Show King.
