    Web-based Adobe Photoshop Express

Have you heard the buzz about Photoshop moving online and becoming free? We’re talking about Adobe Photoshop Express, a new beta web application just launched by Adobe that allows us to upload, edit, sort, and share tons of images (2GB is the maximum amount right now). In this article, we’re going to give an overview of its specifications and, ultimately, review how it works. It looks promising!I don’t know if you still remember, but more than half a year ago I reviewed the most popular web-based image manipulation services that were around back then. You may want to check that article out in order to realize what I’m looking for when considering web-based image editing applications. It will also give you a sense of other alternatives. Here’s the article: Web-based Image Manipulation Services Review.

Lately, we have noticed a sort of boom in terms of RIA (Rich Internet Applications). Most of today’s companies and software development firms are targeting the web to deliver free services to potential customers. Since almost everybody has Internet access, this is a profitable solution that works. However, successful companies have an “unfair” advantage thanks to their brand name.

Simply put, let’s consider this particular niche: image editing. Anybody that has used a computer and hasn’t lived in a cave has heard of Adobe Photoshop. Thus, Photoshop is the leading image editing software suite. It’s the application that defines the standards. Because of this, Adobe has acquired this brand. Overall, people also give “Adobe” much more credibility in this area.

Somehow it makes sense that if Adobe releases a new service or product in their area of expertise, it’s going to crush and burn all competition and achieve pole-position right as it comes out. The purpose of reviews is to investigate a particular product, service, or solution to decide whether it delivers the listed features or functions.

Having this in mind, we dedicate this entire article to Adobe Photoshop Express not only to present its characteristics and features, but also to see how it performs and whether it meets our expectations. Throughout this article, you’ll read a comprehensive review of Photoshop Express and at the end you will know its pros and cons. Read on!
