Super Mario Galaxy for the Wii - Graphics and Music

Graphics are yet another sector where this game shines. Super Mario Galaxy runs at 60 frames per second and also supports 16:9 widescreen. All of the characters are meticulously detailed. The galaxies are entrancing and diverse, varying from water worlds to ships to deserts, just to name a few. Each galaxy comes alive with stunning detail and color thanks to the Wii engine. One could say it’s even the best-looking game on the entire console.

The musical score in Super Mario Galaxy is orchestrated and superb. It is a nice mix of both new and old tunes that many fans of the series will recognize. The only downside to the audio in Super Mario Galaxy is the lack of voice from its characters, as with other titles from Wii. Overall though, the wonderful and diverse tracks overcome this gripe.

Super Mario Galaxy is clearly one of the best titles on the Wii. Its one of a kind graphics and sound provide for an excellent visual and audio experience. The control system really does a good job of thrusting you into the heart of the action. With so many different galaxies and challenges to encounter, there is no doubt that this gem will keep you busy and entertained for a long time.
