Super Mario Galaxy for the Wii

Nintendo has done it yet again. Mario is the face of the gaming giant thanks to the gargantuan success and popularity he has gained throughout Nintendo’s history. Time after time Super Mario titles gave fans hours upon hours of entertainment in the form of their favorite little plumber. With Super Mario Galaxy for the Wii, the trend continues, thanks to Nintendo’s EAD Tokyo studio.

While classics like Super Mario Brothers blew away gamers with their success using 2D, Super Mario Galaxy does the same, only in astounding 3D. When you combine its excellent graphics, beautiful sound, engrossing gameplay, and never-ending appeal into one product, you have a recipe for success.

The added power of the Wii along with its fun-to-use controls immerse you even more into the experience and are simply icing on the cake. Whether you are swinging, gliding, jumping, or flying through the graphically beautiful galaxy, you will always be entertained to the fullest.

There is no need to worry that sending Mario into outer space will make the game stray from the tried-and-true formula of its popular predecessors, either. As you navigate the galaxy and soar around planets, you will undoubtedly notice many familiar places and characters from the past.

In fact, you could even say that Super Mario Galaxy is somewhat of a sequel to Super Mario 64, albeit Super Mario 64 in outer space and not in its original environment -- and this version is unbeatable in terms of its fun factor and playability. Super Mario Galaxy for the Wii gaming console is a title that not only Mario fanatics, but also newcomers to the series, will surely enjoy. If you own a Wii you will be well served to pick up Super Mario Galaxy; it is one of the best titles on the system.
