    Soulcalibur IV

Soulcalibur continues its tradition of high quality fighting game entertainment with its newest installment on the PS3, Soulcalibur IV. If you are a big fan of the franchise or unfamiliar with it but enjoy weapons based fighting games, then Soulcalibur IV is definitely a title you will want to check out.

The game features about 30 interesting characters to keep you entertained, as well as various modes of gameplay, including an online mode that allows you to showcase your skills versus other Soulcalibur fanatics via the Internet. The graphics are beautiful and the sound is mesmerizing at times. Combat is intense and there are many different fighting moves that you can add to your repertoire over time. There are also many unlockables in the game.

All of these positives add to Soulcalibur IV’s value and make it a game that can easily keep you busy for a long time. Playing it does not get old. Xbox 360 owners do not need to fret, as Soulcalibur IV is available for your console as well, not just the PS3. You can pick up this hot title right now at your local electronics store for $59.99.

There are several modes of gameplay on Soulcalibur IV that can keep you interested in the game, depending on what you are in the mood for. As in  previous editions of the Soulcalibur series, there exists the Story and Arcade modes.

In the story mode you can use any character you want to play through their own game or “story.” This mode is pretty fun and allows you to learn more specific things about each character's background as you advance. The only down side is that the Story mode is not too in-depth, and if you are good you can pretty much conquer each character’s story within a half hour, as it is usually only about five rounds long. Regardless, it is a nice mode to have.
