Small Tech Gifts for Kids - A Cell Phone

Before you get all up in arms, I am not talking about putting a teen-ager on your cell phone plan. I only reserve that suggestion for someone who I really, truly do not like. If you ever want to send an enemy to their complete and utter financial ruin, then suggest that they get a teen-ager on their plan, without an unlimited texting plan.

I am talking about getting a prepaid cell phone and an activation card. If you don't go crazy with the card that you get with the phone, you can get the service up and running for only a few dollars. Some of your options for the prepaid phones and the service cards include:

    Motorola W175 from TRACFONE: $10.00

    Kyocera® K126C from TRACFONE: $10.00

Kyocera® Marbl for Virgin Mobile: $13.00

    LG® 200C from TRACFONE: $20.00

    AT&T Motorola C168 GoPhone : $30.00

Motorola i425t from Boost Mobile: $40.00

    Motorola W376 from TRACFONE: $50.00
