Ninja Gaiden II for the Xbox 360 - Weapons and Conclusion
(Page 4 of 4 )
These negatives in the game play in Ninja Gaiden II are overcome by the large amount of weapons available at your disposal. Each weapon has its pluses and minuses, and using them is a blast. The animations for each are fantastic and fun to watch. The wide variety of weapons, from katanas to the Lunar Staff will definitely keep you entertained, and using them to perform a variety of powerful combos helps to keep the game fresh.
Another plus is that, although the fighting can be intense and damaging, there is a new health renewal system that allows you to gain full health after each level, a definite must due to the sheer difficulty of the game.

Tomonobu Itagaki’s swan song with Tecmo of Ninja Gaiden II is probably not his best ever. The game is beautiful to look at and visually entrenching, but the problems with the camera system and sometimes unfair game play can make it frustrating.
If you are somebody that has patience and determination to keep playing a game until you master it, Ninja Gaiden II is a good choice. However, if you are easily flustered, you may want to look elsewhere for your fighting action.
