    Father`s Day Gift Guide

I hope my Mother's Day gift guide helped you pick the perfect Mother's Day gift. As you know, or at least you should know, Father's Day is coming up quickly. Do you have a great gift in mind? Not yet? Don't worry, I'll give you some ideas; hopefully, they'll help you find the gift that's perfect for your dad. Fathers tend to like tech gadgets more than mothers do, so you probably can't go wrong with a new tech toy.

    TVs

Almost all fathers love to watch TV; what could be better than a nice new TV?  There are thousands of different TVs out there, so how do you know which one to pick? It's hard; it mostly depends on your price range and what you're looking for. I personally love Samsung TVs, but make sure you check the reviews for the TV before buying any brand.

I would look at the Samsung LN-4665F. It is a very popular TV. It sports a very nice 46 inch LCD screen with all the connections you would need. I personally have a Samsung SlimFit 27 inch HDTV. It's a very good bargain when compared to the competition. It has a wonderfully clear picture, lots of connections and a modest price tag. The only real down side I know of is that it weights a lot.  My father and I can barely move it.

    PDA or PDA/Cell Phone Combo

If your father is a business man, he probably has important meetings, critical emails and important documents.  What better way to help your father than by getting him a PDA? With both Palm and Windows Mobile, you can keep track of everything.

PDAs are a dying breed; most of them have turned into cell phone hybrids. HP still makes stand alone PDAs, but most of them are going to be found in cell phone stores. The great part about having it built into your cell phone is that you can use the cell phone connection to get onto the Internet and have to carry around only one device rather than a PDA and a cell phone.

Check what your current cell phone carrier has to offer. There are many new phones coming out this summer. With the launch of the iPhone, many companies are giving their PDA phones an update to help hold their market share. If you don't want to wait until the new ones are launched, look at the current ones -- they should be going on sale soon to make way for new inventory.

    Remote

If you house is like mine, you have quite a few remotes lying around.  It takes at least two or three to go from the TV to a DVD.  Logitech's Harmony remote is your answer.  It is a single remote that can take on the functions from all your remotes simultaneously. This is a great gift that your dad probably wouldn't think of if you want to surprise him.  This is what I may get my father for Father's Day.  He is always picking up remotes and putting them either on the TV, the cable box or the coffee table.  It's a scavenger hunt trying to find them just to watch a movie.  With this device, there will be only one remote to find.
