All About Black Friday - SEARS

Sears sells stuff for anyone and everyone, so this is a good place to start shopping for everyone on your list. After taking a look at their deals, I didn’t see too many things this year that are worth the wait. Sears looks like a good second store. After looking at the ad, I noticed that you can grab the same things for the same price or $10-$20 more now. It would be wise to take a look at the current ads and see if you can score the deals without the wait. The one major deal I saw was a washer and dryer combo for over 50 percent off. I’m sure that there isn’t a huge demand for these, but it will be very hot for those who need them.
Circuit City

Circuit City has recently closed 155 stores, so there might not even be a store near you anymore; for those who still live near one, however, they will have some deals this year as well. They have gone into bankruptcy right before the holiday, which could mean this is the last holiday season for Circuit City. Perhaps we will see some really sweet deals as the holiday draws closer. What I do know is to stay away from gift cards like the plague. I would hate to be holding gift cards when they go under, and then the cards are worthless. If you do have some gift cards lying around, I would buy something very soon.
The door buster deals this year are all about TVs. The deals are moderately hot, but if you shop around, you can find better deals. There will be a low grade HP laptop for $400. That's not such a great deal compared to what you could get for the bang for the buck if you shop around at HP or Dell’s website.
I think the winning items this year at Circuit City this year are video games. The Guitar Hero 3 bundle for the PS3 or Xbox 360 will be $55 each, and will sell out quick. The Aerosmith version for the Wii and Xbox 360 will be $55 as well. An additional wired guitar for the Xbox 360 will be $10. Games for all systems will be on sale, between $5 and $20. The games that I would buy are around $20, but there are some $5 and $10 deals I would jump on, too.
Rounding out the deals on game systems is a great deal on an Xbox 360. You can get the arcade system, plus another controller and a 20 GB hard drive for only $199. Movies will be on sale as well, some for only $4, and a bunch of them at that. If you buy a digital camera, you will get a free Epson photo printer. The deals are worthwhile if you are in the market for video games. Xbox 360 deals are really hot, and truly “Black Friday” worthy.
