NetGear SuperG Wireless Router and Wireless PC Card Review - Technical Trouble and Support
(Page 7 of 8 )
Unfortunately for me, I seem to have purchased a faulty card as when I am connected to my network, my CPU usage intermittently (but frequently) rockets up to 100% and stays there. Now at first I was bitterly disappointed, but at least it gave me the opportunity to put Netgear’s technical support to the test as well.
As soon as had received and installed both of these devices, I registered them online to receive the 2 year warranty. I first emailed Netgear technical support and received a reply within around 12 hours containing some basic diagnostic advice. When the suggestions from their support team didn’t work, I decided to call them on the 24 hour support line. I got through to someone almost straight away and was advised that the card was faulty and if the store that I purchased the card from were not willing to replace it, Netgear themselves would happily provide a replacement. In addition to the stunning customer service, the Netgear website has everything you could need to support either of these two products; manuals, drivers, firmware and plenty of information.
