NetGear SuperG Wireless Router and Wireless PC Card Review - Router Administration and Effectiveness
(Page 4 of 8 )
The router is administrated using an attractive and intuitive browser-based control panel:

The router can be administrated from any capable device on the network, not just the primary device, and the admin facility is password protected by default. The side bar in the screen shot provides a basic overview of the options on whichever page of the admin facility is open.
Once connected, the router is very simple to configure; it takes just five clicks and even fewer minutes to get up and running with a basic configuration and in all honesty, the router does most of the work:

In theory this all sounds very good but how does the router perform in reality? I have found that it satisfies all of my home-networking needs very well; it was very easy to move from a wired network to wireless and I find that my network is now setup in a more logical way. It has gone from a separate ADSL modem, connected to my ‘main’ computer and then the Internet connection shared, to the ADSL router connected to the Internet, and all of the other devices accessing it as peers. I have found that running simultaneous transfers across the network does not seem to result in a decreased performance, for example, I can transfer large amounts of data from my desktop to my laptop, whilst downloading from the Internet, without either the download or transfer speeds suffering.
