The Belkin 54g Wireless Cable/DSL Gateway Router is a solid wireless router. It offers quick installation if you can get the CD installation to work, or if you are running SP2. The configuration options are very robust. The router also comes with a 6 month trial of Parental Control, which is a very good filter, and does not fall for the tricks that trip up other filters. The range worked as far as I dare take a computer in the winter, and the signal strength was par. Belkin’s support is far beyond that of other companies. There were a few downsides; the router dropped my connection a few times for no reason at all. The transfer speeds were very slow, but if you are using it for email and Internet, you will experience little difference between wireless and wired.
