Benchmarks:
Ok, now we have the pertinent BIOS screens and options out of the way. Lets do some benchmarking and comparison's to the MSI K7T266A Pro2-RU motherboard.
System Setup:
Shuttle AK31 V3.1 running BIOS rev ak31s2e9
256MB Kingmax PC2400 Memory
Visiontek GeForce3 running Det 23.11 drivers
Enermax EG465P-VE

Unfortunately, due to SiSoft's recent changes in the way Memory Benchmarks are scored. I cannot provide valid results between the AK31 and the K7T266A. However, the above scores represent the Shuttle AK31 V3.1 at 133MHz FSB.
Lets checkout some Q3 scores. These were run with Q3 Bench, details at max, and ran 3 times for an even score. Lets go.

What we've seen is the MSI K7T266A Pro2-RU outscore the shuttle by a small margin in most benchmarks. Not necessarily surprising, considering the Shuttle is a budget board and directly aimed at the budget market. The K7T266A has many more features and also costs quite a bit more. However, where the Shuttle really shines is in it's overclocking prowess. The MSI K7T266A Pro2-RU simply maxed out at 155Mhz FSB. It ran 155 Rock stable, but would not clock any higher. However, the Shuttle AK31 V3.1 is able to boot into windows @ 166MHz FSB. Quite impressive considering this is PC2700 Spec performance at a fraction of the cost. With aggressive memory settings and a high CPU overclock, we were able to attain 162FSB rock stable with the Shuttle and turned in some fairly impressive scores. Much higher than we could ever achieve running the MSI motherboard.

After overclocking the board we are showing obvious improvements in all areas. Lets finish up this review with a rundown of scores of this board in each area.
