    BENCHMARKS (continued)

     

    Just for the record, each motherboard ran with the same AMD XP2500+ 333MHz Barton processor. All benchmark scores reflect a default FSB of 333MHz.

    CPU Arithmetic

    In all actuality, we should see identical scores from each motherboard since this is a test of the processor's arithmetic logic unit but you can see that the K7N2-L is lagging by the smallest of margins.


     

    CPU Multimedia

    Here we see the K7N2-L lagging again in the integer test but a dead heat on the floating point test. The NF7-S actually pulled the top integer score. But so far the KT400A is hanging almost step for step with the nForce2 chipset.


     

    Memory Benchmark

    Here is where we see the first sign that the FastStream64 memory controller techniques are still not quite as efficient as the dual-channel memory controller of the nForce2 chipset.
