BIOS
The BIOS has lots of nice extras besides the usual features. Take a look at the more basic ones here in the Advanced BIOS features screen. The Advanced Chipset Features screen is below that, and it has a little more to look at.

As you can see, I had to play with the DRAM timing to get them to match the memory spec. It's very easy to do, as you can see. For some of the other options, it would be nice to have more documentation in the manual. Some of the features seem to be explained well enough, but in others it seems that they didn't try so hard (or at all). One example is:
SLP_S4# Assertion Width (Default: 4 to 5 Sec.):
This item allows you to set the SLP_S4# Assertion Width.
Other parts of the manual are more descriptive. It just appears that whoever wrote it got lazy in a few sections.
The motherboard also allows temperature and voltage monitoring, as well as other special features. Some of them are available through the SuperStep software too. The software is pretty much identical to the SuperStep software from the Foxconn Winfast board we reviewed last month. Here's a screenshot of the temperature monitoring.

There are a few more BIOS worth mentioning before we go onto overclocking.

If you enable SuperBoot, the computer caches your BIOS post phase, so it will skip that the next time you boot. These speeds up your system start by about 5-10 seconds, depending on your devices. The SuperBIOS-Protect keeps your system BIOS from being overwritten by a virus or other malicious code.
SuperRecovery secures your computer, and it looks influenced by the ideas behind the Trusted Platform Module. It can lock down partitions of your hard drives (and even make them completely invisible) so they can only be accessed during backups and with passwords.
Read on to see SuperSpeed, which holds all of the overclocking features.
