Needless to say, your memory is going to be a problem before this board is. Or your CPU. Thanks to fully implemented clock locks (PCI, AGP and SATA), you can basically set it and forget it. While not as blindingly simple as Canterwood boards have become, thanks to being able to manipulate HyperTransport bus multipliers as well as the CPU multiplier, there seems to be enough headroom available for high end air, water, and phase change / cascade cooling. In my own tests it had no issues making my Kingston HyperX 3000 (Winbond BH-5) beg for mercy. With my Sempron 3100+ which is in the mail, I'll be able to truly test out the capabilities of this board. The current A64 3200+ C0 plugged into it provides no where near enough of a challenge, even while water cooled. I know the chip tops out around 2.3GHz, so instead decided to have some fun with memory instead.
