    DFI LanParty UT NF3 250GB - Comanche4, Unreal Tournament

    Comanche4

Getting to a real world game however, the AOpen board measures right in with the rest. So much for synthetic benchmarks. Pretty much everyone seems video card limited here, which isn't surprising considering the lack of horsepower offered up by the now three generations old Radeon 8500.

    Unreal Tournament 2003

After making use of the HardOCP benchmark tool for this test, here are the results. The AOpen AK86-L has a meager advantage here over both contemporaries. That advantage in 3DMark2K1SE (a synthetic bench) doesn't translate into many gains in the real world. Pretty much this is all within experimental error. A driver tweak here or there could make any of these change places.
