Albatron K8X800 Pro II Review - Benchmarks - Video Games

    Comanche4

    K8X800 Pro II - Comanche 4

Both scored exactly 55FPS in this test, at 640x480.  I'm definitely thinking it's due to a video card limitation, not the system itself.

    3DMark2001 SE

    K8X800 Pro II - 3DMark2001

It doesn't look like much difference in that graph, but 300 extra points in this video benchmark while keeping the same card is impressive. Compare these scores to the following:

    Albatron and Athlon 64

    Intel 2.4C at 3.2 GHz

I'm well aware of the "difference" in the two drivers.  They are the same base driver, the only difference is the changing of the tabs by the creator of the Omega Drivers.  Both use the same Catalyst 3.10 base, and have the same settings, as shown by the near identical scores in nature and dragothic (pure video card).

In other video game tests, which due to time constraints I didn't have a chance to complimate into this review, the Albatron K8X800 and Athlon 64 combo proved to be consistently higher than that of the Intel rig.
