SISOFT CPU
The IC7-MAX3 runs shows similar performance to other Canterwood based boards here and that is what we expected. You'll see vast improvements over Intel's older 845 based motherboards. I also threw in some Barton scores just for kicks and the NF7-S coupled with a Barton 2500+ makes a strong showing for FPU performance.
SISOFT Multi-Media
We also see similar numbers across the board for Canterwood boards, and they are also faster than boards with other chipsets. Let's checkout memory scores.
SISOFT Memory
Here we see the IC7-MAX3 excel in memory scores over all other motherboards. I suspect ABIT engineers went through the BIOS and tweaked a few settings and this is showing better performance in this synthetic benchmark. We haven't even enabled Game Accelerator. More on that later.
