    iRiver H320

Today DevHardware will look at a new hard drive MP3 player, the iRiver H320. This player packs a ton of features inside a stylish case. iRiver hopes to overthrow the iPod for the throne of top hard drive MP3 Player. The H320 brings a colored screen, built in radio, and picture capability; will this be enough to beat the iPod? Read on to find out.

Founded in 1999, iRiver is relatively new to the scene. The company has quickly become a powerhouse in the portable music field. Along with hard drive MP3 players, iRiver makes portable video players, Flash-based MP3 players, and CD players. Their players are known for packing many features into a slick and stylish case.

    What do you get?

Once you open the box up you will find:

    • iRiver earphones

    • Carrying case

    • USB 2.0 cable

    • AC adapter

    • Audio line-in cable

    • Installation CD

    • iRiver H320

Two things that I would have liked to see included with the player are a remote and a docking cradle. The remote will cost you an additional $20, and a cradle will run you $25. There is a nice manual to go along with the player; it is always better to have too many instructions then not enough, and you will definitely need them all. The headphones are just as crappy as every other pair that comes with any music player.
