iPod 5G Grandstand Case - Final Thoughts

Pacific Design has come through once again, with a case that stands out in an industry where many cases exist.  This is my new favorite, and an upgrade from the neoprene case I used before.

So once again, the time has come for the ups and downs for this product.  And without further ado:

    Ups:

    • Well made.
    • Comes in a variety of colors.
    • iPod fits securely.
    • Has built-in stand.
    • Access to bottom and top ports when the case is open and closed.

    Downs:

    • When case is closed, no access to controls.

Based on the above things, and just the overall quality of the case, I’m giving it a score of 9 out of 10, and Dev Hardware’s recommended award. I would definitely recommend this case to someone who was looking for a case for their 5G iPod, and didn’t need access to the controls. For viewing the Video iPod, this case is perfect!

I would like to thank Pacific Design for sending us the iPod 5G Grandstand case.  If you have any questions about the Grandstand, or any of Pacific Design’s other products, visit their website at http://www.pacificdesign.com/pac_iPod5g_grandstand.html.
