i-PHONO Mini Bluetooth Stereo Pod Transmitter BT450Px for Sony PSP - Summing it up

So, overall impressions?  I find the Bluetake i-PHONO Mini Bluetooth Stereo Pod to be a well-engineered and overall cool product.  It delivered clear and well defined sound consistently, and actually made me forget that I was listening to a wireless device.

As always, here’s the ups and downs of this product:

    Ups:

    • Nice sleek design fits PSP like a glove
    • Long battery life (5 hours)
    • Recharges from PSP charger
    • Easy pairing
    • Sound quality is excellent and is easily mistaken for wired headphones

    Downs:

    • Requires additional purchase of Bluetooth headphones

On a scale of 1-10, I’d give this product an overall 8.  The reason for this, is even though the sound quality is great, I’m not sure I like the idea of having to remember to charge 2 more wireless devices (the transmitter and headphones) for something that sits in my hands, in easy reach of standard corded headphones (requiring no charging).  But, if you ride the cutting edge, and would really like wireless for your wireless, then this gadget is exactly what you need.

I would like to thank Bluetake for providing the BT450Px for review.  If you would like any more information about this product, visit Bluetake’s website at http://www.bluetake.com/products/BT450Px.htm.
