Performance is seamless when using the Tonium Pacemaker. Processing is powerful; you will not experience lag during usage. This handheld machine has more than enough power to pump out mixes.
The controls and touch pad are sensitive to the touch, and reaction time is excellent. Audio quality is excellent as well, and thanks to the 3.5 mm headphone jack you can listen to your own cue mix that differs from the one being broadcast to others. The Pacemaker supports various audio formats, such as MP3, AAC, WAV, SND, AIFF, FLAC, and Ogg Vorbis.
Battery life is decent on the Tonium Pacemaker player. The unit is quoted as having five hours of mixing time and 18 hours of playback time on a fully charged battery. The battery takes approximately two hours to charge fully if you use an AC adapter, or twice as long if you decide to charge via the USB connection on the unit.

A nice extra for those who purchase and use the Pacemaker player is the DJ Mix Portal website (www.pacemaker.net). The DJ Mix Portal site was made to be used in conjunction with the Pacemaker DJ MP3 player and is a forum for users of the product to share their newly-made tracks. The website is a definite plus for Pacemaker users; it can be used as not only a proving ground but possibly a way to advertise your skills. Once you create your tracks on the Pacemaker and load them onto your computer, you can then download them to the Mix Portal site so that members in the Internet community can stream the songs.
The Tonium Pacemaker DJ Portable DJ MP3 player is simply a great product. Its processing power and user friendly design allows novices and experts alike to create their own music mixes with relative ease. Whether you're an actual DJ or someone who just likes to experiment with music, you will not be disappointed if you decide to take the plunge and purchase this wonderful machine.
