The Best Budget MP3 Players - SanDisk Sansa Express

SanDisk has created a great player in the Express, which is only about the size of a pack of gum.  The dimension of the Express are 1 x 0.7 x 3.1 inches, which makes it very portable.  This compact flash player is actually a USB stick, with the end cap acting as a protector for the USB.  This is a great feature which eliminates the need for a separate USB cord.

The Express comes with a great set of features.  There is a small LCD readout screen which displays the music, and makes navigating easy.  There is also an integrated FM radio which works very well, as well as the capability to record. This player is 1 GB, which is sufficient, but it also has an expansion slot for a mini SD card, which can add additional memory.

The sound of this player is good, and the supported formats are MP3, WAV, and WMA.  The sound can also be adjusted with the integrated equalizer settings which include normal, pop, rock, jazz, classical, and custom.  This player also gives the user plenty of battery life which the manufacturer rates at 15 hours.

I like this player a lot, mainly because of the USB feature, small readout screen, expandable memory, and good sound quality. All of this can be had for only about $50 online.  This is a great deal for a good quality MP3 player.
