    Sony NWZ-S738F Walkman MP3 Player

With the possible exception of the Apple iPod, all MP3 players are the same, right? Think again. Sony, who all but invented portable music in a personal form with their Walkman, isn't about to surrender the field. And if you're looking for something special, its new NWZ-S738F Walkman MP3 player deserves your attention.

    Introduction

As technology becomes more accessible and MP3 players become more commonplace, it is becoming increasingly difficult for companies to distinguish themselves and create a product that garners any kind of attention. That being said,Sonyhas hit a home run with their new NWZ-S738F Walkman MP3 Player. Aside from being stylish, compact and sleek, it also has a multitude of cool, cutting edge features that are sure to please consumers in search of a music device that is more intuitive and stylish than most.

The Sony S-Series Walkman has a lot going for it; cool extras include integrated noise-canceling, an FM tuner, a smart playlist creator and perhaps most impressive and rare of all: Podcast support. Aside from being incredibly pleasing to the eye, the S738F also sounds amazing right out of the box. The display is crisp and the interface is very easy to navigate and customizable.

All of those features, coupled with the fact that the device also boasts several sound enhancement options and comes with newmusic management software, meaning it works with music collections ripped from CDs, makes this a pretty desirable MP3 player.

The sound quality and integrated noise functionality alone would make the Sony S-Series Walkman ideal for any music buff -- but this Walkman does have a couple of less-than-ideal attributes. For example, the S-Series Walkman maxes out at only 8GB and doesn't include memory expansion. Also, the packaged earbuds, though high end and of very good quality, may not be comfortable for everyone. Thankfully they're not necessary for the noise-cancellation feature.

Those minor setbacks aside, the S-Series is an awesome device that will prove to be worth every penny. Let's take a look at some of the specifics concerning Sony's new S-Series.
